Experienced Workers' Comp Underwriter

Normandy Insurance Company is looking for an experienced workers' compensation underwriter that is passionate and hard-working. This position will be responsible for underwriting and managing a large group of PEO business as well as traditional and large deductible policies, all while upholding the highest level of customer service for our agents and insureds. Candidate can reside outside of Florida, as Normandy offers a remote working environment. Ideal candidates should have 5-8 years in workers' compensation underwriting with experience underwriting PEO's and large deductible policies. Responsibilities:

  • Ability to evaluate applications, inspection reports, loss experience, financial information, etc. to properly select risk for traditional and PEO business within underwriting authority.
  • Flexibility and creativity in the underwriting process
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships that produce loyalty and promote a long-term working relationship with our agents and PEO's through exceptional customer service
  • Other duties as assigned and modified at the management's discretion

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of workers' compensation underwriting experience, preferably with PEO and large deductible business
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
  • WCP, ARM, AU or CPCU designation preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NCCI rules and classifications

Experienced Billing/Customer Service Administrator

Overview:

This position will be responsible for general administrative functions and assistant our Billing Department while upholding the highest level of customer service for our agents and insureds. Ideal candidates should have 2 to 3 years in customer service and general knowledge of workers' compensation. Responsibilities:

  • Generate daily invoicing process.
  • Handle incoming calls from our insureds, agents, internal customers, and outside vendors.
  • Assist Billing Department with monthly audit processing, payment processing, commissions, and customer service inquiries.

RN Consultant

Workers’ Compensation RN, Nurse Consultant: Florida Experienced, Remote Position

Normandy Insurance Company is interviewing for an experienced Florida-based RN with workers’ compensation experience. This is a remote position.

If you have the following:

  • At least 3 years of full-time experience engaged in Workers’ Compensation medical-related issues including assessment of and intervention in questions of medical causality, appropriateness of treatment plans, and acting as a good consumer of medical services on behalf of injured workers and employers.
  • 3 or more years of clinical experience (ER/trauma, orthopedics, neurological, ICU)

Our RN, Nurse Consultants work in partnership with Normandy Workers’ Compensation Adjusters in our medically driven approach to claims management.

Strong candidates for this position will have the ability to:

  • Think critically
  • Work in a consultative role. This is not a telephonic case management position.
  • Ability to manage time appropriately and meet deadlines
  • Interact regularly with multiple claim parties including medical providers, medical directors, attorneys, employers, and others
  • Forensically review medical records

Workers’ Compensation Adjuster

Workers’ Compensation Adjuster: Licensed and experienced

Normandy Insurance Company is interviewing for a well-practiced, licensed Workers’ Compensation Adjuster to work remotely.  

Candidates must have at least 5 years’ full-time workers’ compensation adjusting experience including:

  • Initial and ongoing claims investigation
  • Financial management (reserving, subrogation, offsets, settlement negotiation)
  • Litigation management
  • Oversight and management of the medical aspects of claims (referral, authorization, reimbursement)
  • Regulatory compliance requirements and EDI reporting
  • Other as assigned
