Normandy Harbor Insurance Company Hires Loss Control Director

Deerfield Beach — As part of its continuing commitment to workplace safety and results oriented loss prevention programs, Normandy Harbor, an innovative workers' compensation insurance carrier that offers customized plans to select Florida businesses, has hired Melissa Alverson Slappey as Director of Loss Control for North and Central Florida.

Slappey majored in Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She has been a professional in the loss control, risk management, and workers' compensation fields for 15 years.
