Miami Beach, Florida — The Board of Directors of Normandy Harbor Insurance Company has named Therese (Terri) A. Stevens as the company's new president and CEO. Steven's appointment was announced by Simon Ganz, Chairman of the Board for NHIC at its Miami Beach, FL headquarters. Stevens, who has over 20 years of insurance experience specializing in workers' compensation insurance coverage will oversee all aspects of the operations for NHIC and will direct the implementation and execution of the company's strategic business plan for its workers' compensation program. "We look forward to Terri joining the company and bringing her wealth of experience and knowledge of the Florida workers' compensation insurance market," said Ganz. "She is a dynamic leader, and will be able to grow NHIC by focusing on driving business results and delivering an outstanding experience for our customers and agents." Most recently, Stevens served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Majestic Insurance Company; a San Francisco, CA based insurance company. Steven's also served as the Senior Vice President of Agency Services for Unisource AdministRaters, Inc. In addition, Stevens spent time with RISCORP and the FCCI Group, holding a succession of senior management positions. During her career, Stevens has been the featured speaker at insurance industry events and has published numerous articles in industry trade publications. Steven's graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from John Carroll University in Euclid, Ohio. She has held a Florida 220 General-Lines License since 1991.
