Deerfield Beach, FL — As Normandy Insurance continues to grow and expand staff and services, Robert Sublet has been promoted into the position of Vice President of Business Development. Formerly a Senior Field Underwriter with Normandy, Robert's new role will focus on accelerating Normandy's growth while ensuring a continued positive experience for our agents and policyholders.
During his tenure at Normandy, Robert has been instrumental in the development of many of Normandy's marketing initiatives, while assisting with Normandy's underwriting division in an effort to increase production and establish enhanced operating procedures.
With over 30 years of insurance experience, Sublet brings substantial expertise to his new position at Normandy. Previously the Territory Sales Manager for a national insurance group, Robert also has years of experience with Philadelphia Insurance Co., CNA Insurance Co., and Allmerica Financial Corp. in commercial lines underwriting, marketing, agency appointments and business development.
"We are excited to promote Robert to our management team, as he brings an incredibly well- rounded amount of insurance knowledge that will be instrumental as we focus on growth initiatives in 2016," says Normandy's Senior Vice President, Jayson Buechler. "Robert has already made significant contributions in our company, and we know that in his new position he will play an even larger role as Normandy continues to grow and offer broader services."
Sublet has a Florida 440 insurance license, earned his bachelor's degree from Creighton University in Omaha and his master's degree from the University of Nebraska.
Normandy currently has $22 million in workers' compensation premium, $10 million in surplus, and a combined loss ratio of 89 percent, reports Buechler. "Since our founding in 2008, we have consistently expanded our services and sought out seasoned professionals to work with our clients," Buechler said. "The addition of these professionals to our seasoned team is further fulfillment of our commitment to provide exceptional workers' compensation coverage to select Florida employers."
